What the API does

Order pulling with all shipping details

Yakit pulls orders from the marketplace, classifies them and creates a virtual shipment with categories and HS codes. Your platform ("Shipper") reads that data to print labels and fulfil the order — you keep the merchant relationship, payments and support.

Authenticate with Basic Access auth (username + account key from Preferences).
Create account & register a callback URL; merchants attach Shopify/Etsy stores via an SSON link (add &channel=etsy or shopify to skip the Channels page).
Get a webhook hit with the Yakit shipmentId each time a new order is pulled, then call Get Open Shipment for full details.
Print the label, then call updateShipment with the AWB number to mark the order dispatched.

Normalized tracking pushed to the marketplace

Push your AWB into a Yakit shipment and Yakit pulls your events from Aftership (or your native adapter), normalizes them per marketplace spec and posts them to Etsy and Shopify. Etsy is integrated as a virtual carrier.

Create the shipment (or reuse one created via order-pull) and push the AWB with updateShipment.
Yakit normalizes events and pushes them; on Etsy the order is marked Complete, on Shopify it's marked Fulfilled with carrier + AWB.
One Master login tracks all shipments for all merchants — no sub-account per merchant needed for tracking.
Aftership integration needs your slug (e.g. yakit) and API key; the Shipper is billed by Aftership per shipment.
Buyers & sellers see a clean, unified tracking timeline mapped from your AWB via the Yakit ShipmentId.
